At Bamo Memorial Foundation, a not-for-profit organization committed to transforming lives and improving communities, we are dedicated to providing a wide range of programs that address the pressing needs of individuals and communities in Kenya. Through our impactful initiatives, we aim to foster sustainable development, empower marginalized groups, and uplift the quality of life for the people we serve. Here are some of the key programs we offer to achieve these goals
Health Equity & Education
BAMO Memorial Foundation is dedicated to partnering with local partners, the community, and other government agencies to remove barriers to improved health and educational opportunities for low-income communities within Rongai & its environs.
Social-Economic Inclusion & Development
BMF will help local communities create and discover better opportunities to improve their living standards while upholding the social-economic inclusion & development principle. Advocating for Social-Economic inclusion will help improve the ability, opportunity, and dignity of those disadvantaged in the community and give them meaningful social-economic status.
Community Capacity Building
BMF will strive to create opportunities for constituent members to build their “participatory capacity” in civic and health promotion activities. This will ensure that no one is left behind in contributing to the community as good citizenry.
Innovations & Entrepreneurship support
BMF will adhere to provide support in innovations and Entrepreneurship to social welfare groups and individual entrepreneurs within Rongai constituency and Nakuru County as necessary.
Youth & Children programs
BMF believes in supporting the children and the youth in the community through training, sensitization, and confidence building programs/activities such as physical exercises-club activities, mental health education, and drug use & abuse among other programs.
Poverty eradication programs
BMF with community partners & government agencies will work towards the championing of policies geared to more equitable distribution of wealth and income and social protection in the community that it serves, particularly to the underprivileged in the society.
